Signing of cooperation agreement between the Latvian and Chinese Academies of Sciences

On Friday, November 4th, in the Latvian Academy of Sciences in solemn atmosphere the bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between the Latvian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Social Sciences of People's Republic of China. During the meeting academician Ivars Kalviņš gave a speech about Latvian achievements in medicine, including oncolytic virotherapy, that caused the interest of Chinese scientists.
