Professor Dace Baltiņa joins International Virotherapy Center

With real pleasure we can announce that Dace Baltiņa, Associate Professor of Riga Stradins University and a chief specialist in oncology of Health Ministry became the Medical Director of the International Virotherapy Center. Professor Baltiņa new position will help promote the development of cancer virotherapy both in Latvia and worldwide. Professor Baltiņa will supervise the process of virotherapy application in the treatment of cancer. She will monitor compliance with the virotherapy guidelines and taking into account interests of the patients. One of the responsibility of the professor will be educational activities to enhance virotherapy recognition and inclusion in the list of methods for the treatment of malignant tumors.
