Visit of the Professor Nureddine Ashammakhi

On 18th July, 2014, Latvian Virotherapy Center was visited by General Director of the National Agency for Scientific Research of Libya, Professor Nureddine Ashammakhi. Professor Ashammaki came to Latvia because of his big interest in the Latvian unique method of treating cancer – virotherapy. During the visit to the Center, Professor listened to the report on the history of the discovery of Rigvir, specifics of its application and the experience in the treatment of Latvian and foreign patients. Professor Ashammakhi also discussed with the representatives of Latvian Virotherapy Center future cooperation to make virotherapy available for Libyan cancer patients.
