Meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Brussels 25.03.2014

On 25th of March representative of Latvian Medical Export Association visited Brussels where she met the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Ahmed Mohamed Aldoseri and the Second Secretary of Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain – Nasser Khaled Al Khalifa. During the meeting, LMEA representative introduced the possibilities which Latvian medicine export can offer for foreign patients.

The Ambassador was pleasantly surprised with the treatment options that are available in Latvia and praised the achievements of Latvian scientists in virotherapy. Parties discussed promotion of availability of virotherapy for Bahrain oncology patients.

The visit ended with a promising plans for the future and it is nice to know that such different countries as the Kingdom of Bahrain and Latvia have very similar views on medical sphere. Both sides expressed their willingness to strengthen bilateral relations in the future, to keep in touch and to make arrangements for joint events.
