10th EADO Congress in Vilnius, Lithuania 7-10.05.2014

On May 7th-10th in Vilnius, Lithuania, took place the 10th EADO congress on advances in diagnosis and treatment of skin tumors. Congress was organised by the European Association of Dermato-Oncology. This year in congress participated oncologists and dermatologists from more than 15 countries. During the congress, international key opinion leaders gave overview presentations, reported on the latest clinical trial results and discussed new treatment methods with the audience in the plenary lectures and at symposiums.

Scientists made the statements for outstanding achievements in the prevention, early detection, innovative diagnostics, imaging and treatment techniques of cutaneous malignancies. Latvia at the congress was represented by Dr. med. Simon Doniņa, an oncologist-immunologist, who gave a presentation on the virotherapy with Rigvir.
